Personal Purchase Discounts on Computers

Morehouse has arrangements with a few vendors of computer hardware and software that allow our faculty, staff, and students to buy equipment or software at a discount. We're trying to add more such arrangements, so this list should grow.

Listed below are the vendors with whom such arrangements exist and either links to the special website used for this or directions on how to get the discounts and deals. Please make sure to price the stuff you want both with and without these deals: some vendors seem to use this as a means of having you avoid their sales!

• Apple -- Visit the Apple Store; look for the "More Stores" item; click the link about educational discounts for students, faculty, and staff; find Morehouse; do your thing. Savings tend to hover in the 10% range.

• Dell -- Follow the link at the left and shop all you want. Dell claims the savings are around 10-12%, but Morehouse IT hasn't really looked all that closely.
